To get the best from your detox, one should eat a gluten-free vegan diet, stay away from sugar, drink pure filtered water, stay away from all liquids or water that come in plastic containers and eat only organic fruits and vegetables. There are certain times that certain organs are more active and will respond to a cleanse.
The liver transforms harmful toxins into substances that can be safely eliminated by the colon and the kidneys. Start off your day with a fresh glass of lemon water. The best herbs for spring detox are milk thistle, dandelion root, burdock root and phosphatidylcholine.
The EARLY SUMMER:
Is when the sun draws closest to the earth. This is the time when our energies are at their peak. This is the time that the heart and the small intestines are the most active. Great herbs that cleanse and strengthen the heart are hawthorn berry, garlic, gingko and CoQ10.
LATE SUMMER:
Is when the days are hotter, damper and there is a feeling of heaviness in the air. This is when the spleen, the lymph and stomach become the most active. This is best time to do a lymphatic cleanse. The herbs that help are Red clover, poke root, burdock root. Essential oils that are important for the lymphatic system are frankincense oil, hyssop oil, grapefruit oil, cypress oil and lemon oil.
FALL:
Is a time of harvesting and gathering. The leaves take off their mask and begin to dance to the ground. Gathering and elimination are the traits of this season. This is when the Lungs, large intestines and skin become active. This is when one should do a colon cleanse and strengthen the lungs and immune system to get ready for the long cold winter.
EARLY FALL:
Is a great time for getting rid of parasites and to give your colon a good cleanse. A great colon cleanse is Dr. Schultz’s intestinal formula #1and #2. A great parasite cleanse is Dr. Hulda Clark’s parasite cleanse which contains black walnut, clove and Wormwood. These three must always be taken together.
LATE FALL:
Is the perfect time to nourish the lungs while trying to prevent colds and flu. These herbs Mullein, pleurisy root, astragulus, garlic and echinacea will help strengthen the lungs and strengthen your immune system.
WINTER:
Is a season when we turn inward and the cold and darkness urges us to slow down. This is when we can conserve our energy. This is when the kidneys are highly active. This is a time to cleanse and support them. Dandelion root, corn silk, parsley, uva ursi, juniper and cranberry are great for supporting the kidneys.
This is just a Brief synapse of seasonal detoxing.
I will be going into greater detail about liver cleanse, lymphatic system cleanse, colon and parasite cleanse. I will be doing an in-depth detox for people with auto immune diseases such as cancer. I believe if you give the body what it needs it can heal itself.
